Default Boat & Trailer Pic thread..

Are there any around? If so can somebody link me...I was looking at getting a GMC Sierra or maybe the Toyota for the Baja.

Just want to get a look at what they look like with something behind them!

If you have a 35 Baja, you need at least a 3/4 ton truck. A 1-ton
truck would be even better. A Toyota is not going to cut it.

Since you are not a paying member, you will not see any of the pictures in the majority of the threads.

This thread should answer most of your towing questions:

Default Gmc with an Original Miami Vice Scarab KV 38

You will likely know this boat as is attended a Kingston Poker run a few years back and was featured on many news channels. It is now in Ohio, pulled by by a GMC duallie. The truck does a great job but you know it is there on take off. 70 MPH cruise on level ground, you cant tell its there. I guess my membership ran out so they will not let me post pictures. I will post them on speedwake.com under the trailer pictures thread.

PS: That site is FREE

Good Luck

Jim

Default F250 FX4 pulling a 38 KV Scarab

I looked at the Toyota. Went and got a F250 instead, the Toyota says 10,000 LBS, but you REALLY need something that is 3/4 ton or greater. The Ford pulls it like it stole it!

I will post a pic if needed, or go to SPEEDWAKE!

The ski must have been over capacity.

Seriously though, you'd have to be crazy to want to really pull a 10,000 lb boat with a Tundra. It's may get it moving, but I don't think anything else is gonna work right. I'm sure the frame is strong enough to keep sway in check, etc...ha.
