LOL At least we enjoyed a few on the ride in.

The boat is louder on board; i dont think it is a concern with the DNR or Sheriff because it does not make much noise from a distance.[/QUOTE]

I'd like to see them hold a sound meter behind those 16 inch exhaust openings. It might get a little hot trying to keep it within the sound level test procedure rules. I don't think they will mess with you. Basically, no way to do the test.

They can do the test. It gets measured from either side 3.3' back and 4-5' above the water. You would be plenty clear of the exhaust. It would not pass, but I don't think they will mess with it. They will be to busy saying "WOW". They passed by a sheriff leaving the cove and both cops did the jaw drop stare.

LOL Usually Austin has soo many hot chicks in thong bikinis laying all over his boat, there's not a cop in his right mind that would even "think" about giving him a stupid "noise" ticket.

I heard jet engines burn about 1 gallon per minute whether you're at cruising speeds or even at idle speeds.

How bout having a truck bring it to the harbor during the week, and filling it at the ramp?? Remember?? like all the guys did years ago when a bunch of us were running race gas in our boats. The truck came to the harbor during the week, and everybody that needed the fuel, filled it at the ramp.
Austin, give me a call about that, I believe I've got a guy that can take care of that for you.
Are you running a 25-30% gas mixture in it?? You should be.

Frank
