Turbine Nortech Cat @ Coast Guard Festival in GH
That was a pretty Bad @ss rig to see pulling into Hanky Panky cove on Saturday at Coast Guard. Heard all the rumors from a poker player from vegas, to the CEO of Enron. Possible speeds 157mph-319mph. It was Kick A**, whats the scoop. Was it 90 DB, or did the cops figure the owner could possibly afford to fight the ticket :).

I on the other hand had my $10.00 Challenger parked for the day coming into Hanky for noise. They must have figured I could not afford to fight them in court.:drink:

I saw that bad a$$ Nortech as well. I can't believe I forgot to take a picture. Who knows the story? Where's it from? Speed? etc. Thanks!

Which boat was it? Name, color, size?
|
Warbird?
|
I think it was a 50 footer. It looked like it had a big eagles wing on the side, I'm sure it carried over to the deck. I think it had red's, gold's, brown's. Can't totaly remember. I did not get the best look.

Yes it was the former Warbird Nor Tech One very cool boat |
Yeah...quite an impressive piece of machinery! Especially when Austin forgets to charge it overnight and Magic Medicine's Sunsation is attached to the front towing it in. :evilb: I fell in 50 degree Lake Michigan trying to help pull it into a slip at Hammond....he thanked me and said he'd give me a ride later this summer...he has since idled past me 3 times in the Playpen downtown Chicago....short memory I guess!
