ear muffs

I'm having a tough time locating a flushing tool for my low water pick up (nose cone style). Any help?

I had the same problem a few months ago try eddie marine. They had them for about 45-50 bucks the mercury dealer in my area wanted 90!!!

Yup, Eddie Marine is where I got mine and they were $20 less than another well known shop.

just get yourself a Y for the out door faucet screw on a couple of hose repair ends and then reduce clear plastic tubing so that it fits in the pick up holes. Stick the tubes in the holes and duct tape them on before you turn the water on.

did it years ago for my alpha ss, worked great and cost about 10.00.

Not a bad idea, but then I have to carry duct tape around with me.

I have had no luck with the nose cone type of muff sits in the tool box and doen't get used. I just modified and standard pair and use a lot of duct tape.
