My wife passed by this and thought it was our boat...I did not know of this thread until I got a few emails wondering if it was me. This is what prompted me into checking my trailer and finding the axles were not rated for the weight of my 357. Glad everyone was OK.
Anyone know where the boat is now?

Does anyone know what ever happened to this boat?? I am the previous owner, and curious to know if the current owner ever was able to get the ol' girl fixed? That was a great boat, lots of good times.....
I spoke to the current owner after the accident, but since then I have lost contact. He did say that a car cut in front of him, causing him to swerve, and the rest can be seen by the pics. When I sold him the boat, I offered to keep the trailer and help him find a larger one, but he was dead-set on keeping the trailer and getting out on the water. The trailer in the crash was the trailer that came with my 353. I guess he also forgot to buy the most important thing...INSURANCE!
I do know that the current owner has not tagged or registered the boat yet, as I received the renewal in the mail from the Oklahoma Tax Commission...

When the boat was sitting behind my lake place, I could lift the tongue up by myself. Obviously it didn't have enough weight up there - Chart is probably correct about the trailer whipping the back end of the 250 around. The trailer really wasn't meant for transporting the boat... I guess the new owner found that out!
Yikes!
