I thought it was pretty funny

Out of respect, maybe no one wanted to bring a ben kramer boat to a Don Aronow Memorial Race.

I am going to go with whatever ship called in the report of the 50' swell when Gustav was in the gulf. Now that ship can eat some water.

Really what's better at eating waves? A 50 foot wave to an 800 foot ship or a 3 footer to my sweet 16? NK

800 / 50 = 16

16 / 3 = 5.33

I don't know if the math works, but I like your point. I think anything that can take a 50' wave is pretty spectacular.

Swells... wouldn't they be nice. Instead you get ever changing close steep sets. And you have the washing machine around the Islands sometimes.
Lake Erie is always a washing machine! Safety purchase? Good call there!
