My drives have like 8 holes on each side of the drive. if i took a die grinder and cupped the holes where it would scoope the water in stead of relieing sooly on the vacuum of the pump i think i would get more pressure that way.. What do yall think?

Try chamfering the holes with a Dremmel tool like I mentioned. A buddy of mine picked up 9 lbs. on a Checkmate 251 a few years ago doing this.

U have a Buddy? Did U send him some AT stuff???????:party-smiley-004:

Go for deep water!

Do it right! Nose cone kit with a low water pickup like Vett said. you can mess with the side pickup ports all you want but you'll never get it right. Too expensive? It won't take very many pump repairs to match the cost of a nose job. Overheat a motor and you'll really be kicking yourself.:p
