Either of these work perfect for holding down the front of a cockpit cover when trailering.

I do NOT recommend their Preservation Tape for the above mentioned use. It has a stronger adhesive, and becomes "gooier" with prolonged sun exposure.

The Shrink Wrap Tape is perfect for 24-48 hours during a trip. I don't recommend leaving it on for any longer than needed. I have not seen a problem with gelcoat, paint, or clearcoat using the above products.
