All you need is one witness or a taped answering machine phone call and off to small claims court you go. Plus restraining order, and make sure you analyze the oil etc in the motors/drive resevoirs before using the boat again. You'd be surprised how strong a jilted evil b--ch can be.

Where is the drive oil bottle? Fingerprints?

I'd get the EPA after her. That would be a long, expensive, and painful process. I believe you would contact your local Sheriff to get that started.

I believe that would be called vandalism. I would leave it there and call the cops. It would be easy enough to get her convicted of vandalism. Heck, she'd probably say uncle after being arrested and pay to have it detailed. I would also document everything she said about what she did to the boat and give that to the investigating officer. That way if the boat breaks, your insurance will cover it under comprehensive and then they can go after her legally. Don't play any games with her, don't call her, don't talk to her. If she calls you, document it and write down everything she says nice or not. A chick who will do this the first time she gets mad at you is capable of a lot more. MAJOR PSYCHO!!!

Are you sure? Even a small hazmat spill up here has to be cleaned by a licensed contracter. The last one I know about was $8000 for about 30 gallons on a shipping dock. Took two days and the dock couldn't be used. Was hydraulic oil, the dumb azzes shouldn't have called it in for sure.

Make a police report, find a new lady with some sense, clean up the mess and get on with your life. It's just a small set-back that you must learn from. Don't take her calls either.
Good Luck.
