Tomcat, Those graphs and plots are the best. All of Today's threads have been the best of late. I wish I was at home with a brew. Good stuff.

You are right I probably am propped right , the HP curve continues to climb the higher I spin it.
Oh well it was just a thought.

The factory rev limiter is set at 5080rpm, I would highly recommend not propping so you can hit this. The factory rev limit will cut the fuel, there is a small window where it's lean during this RPM control, especially if you hit it multiple times without lifting (hard to feel in some boats). You should either over prop it or raise the RPM limit. Also, with 5 psi, I would expect around 600-615 crankshaft hp, 650 would be a bit on the high side. The factory injectors are going to be wide open from 550-575hp. Also, the system has to compensate for the 5lbs. of manifold pressure against them to equal the same flow therefore they must compensate for the pressure against them as well as the needed fuel for the 5psi.
