Yup- you're right.

Either the host, or the sites a dog.
Probably a bit of both.
Lots of forced pic loading, and tons of high res picts dont help.

I picture IB as a bunch of P2 333 machines running on Win95 in a dorm room with fans running, covers off, and a couple of hung over dudes trying to con a couple of Indian exchange students into solving the conflict with the firewall that is causing a packet jam.

I do not picture banks and banks of rackmounted new school servers connected directly to fiber through banks of new Cisco routers.

We keep being told it is being fixed over and over again but it just gets worse. I can go to any free site and bang its there and running just fine. This place has become nothing more than a hassle and agravation and we had to pay for it

Slow page loads EVERY DAY!

How did one man build an almost flawless empire & this conglomerate can't get the simplest of things right?

I'd be embarrassed if I were IT Brands!
