I never bought any but I got a letter from them a couple of months ago about buying some they took of me.

I didn't remember having any helicopter following me around lately. I had no idea when they took the pix but then read the reference date. They were trying to sell me some that they had taken well over a year ago.
I wonder how long it would take to get the photos?

It took me more than six months after the poker run to get mine a couple of years ago, good pictures, but I have seen a lot of complaints about slow service and incorrect billing.

here is one that I scanned and resized

I bought a picture from them a few years ago. I figure it was worth it because it would be a good keepsake of the boat. Then last year they I was at another run and when they sent me the pictures they were identical to the prior picture i bought. So i called and told them i was gonna return them and he gave me a little guff. I explained why i was returning them, its just not worth $300 for me to buy a nearly identical picture. Told him i'd be willing to pay $100 since they went through the trouble of sending them out. He got all bent out of shape, cussed me and hung up on me. So I decided i'd never buy another from them.
But then this year, I'm out on my parents 48' sea ray with them and boatpix.com shows up overhead taking a bunch of pics. I thought it would make a great 40th anniversary present for them because they are hard to buy for, so i went to the site and ordered them (even though i swore off boatpix). Well, that was back in june and my parents anniversary was last weekend. Still no pics. So I'm back to swearing them off and if the pics arrive at my house, they're getting sent back.

Its no way to run a business.
