Chesapeake this weekend
Looking for a different place to go with the family,
Tired of Jelly fish, Red eyes, Nauti goose. Can any recommend a cool place to go? Thanks |
Try checking with Insptech at his club. www.CBPBA.com They rule the Bay. Lots of good times and parties to go to. Saturday night is some fireworks on the Rhoades River. Other than that don't know yet.

Maybe try the bay up north of Baltimore around Havre De Grace? - I think the water is fresh up there. Or try Lake Anna -although that may be too far. Your in PA? have you tried Raystown Lake? |
chesapeake inn on the c&d canal is pretty cool. and fresh water up here too. well maybe a little brackish but not enough to hurt anything. doesnt even taste salty when swimming in it, although i recommend not opening your mouth while swimming.

Lloyds creek is a nice place to hang with your family. Located just off the Sassafrass river ... Kent County MD

Is there anything to do in Lyoyds creek, is the water deep
thanks |
Baltimore, inner Harbor.

Baja, Lloyds is a place to drop the hook with a bunch of other boaters. Bring food , drink, and toys for the kids. There is a beach and the water can get pretty shallow at low tide but we've always adjusted to it. Are you looking for a resturant/bar? Looks like you've hit all the upper bay spots. We may head a little further south this weekend.
Where are you from in Pa? We come down from Malvern... |
There are races on the Susquehanna this sat/sun. Jersey Skiffs, Hydros....its a good time, deep water and Port Deposit is a cool little town. Check it out we'll be there sat.

Last weekend we ran from Nauti-Goose to Annapolis and then to Cambridge. I would highly recommend Annapolis. The Marriot is right next to the marina and both have transient slips. Pusser's in the Marriot is a great harbor side restaurant and bar. The town itself is beautiful to walk around and enjoy the day.

Annapolis is my favorite town on the upper bay. Cambridge downtown during the races was a blast to. Hmmmmmm................What to do?

I live right outside of Annapolis and frequent Pussers for Happy Hour once a week or so, much talent there!!!!!! Going to watch the Fireworks show on Sarturday in the Rhode River, it is more like a several hundred/thousand boat gathering/ raft up for the show, starts early in the afternoon and goes well into the night... Overnighting on the hook then running to Cambridge Hyatt on Sunday morning for a little poolside beverages for the remaining of the weekend with approx. 5-6 boats... www.cbpba.com http://chesapeakebay.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp |
Were you cruising past there Friday afternoon? I saw a 400SS while we were having cocktails on the dockbar.

No I was at a Buddy of mine's Sky Box for the Orioles and Yankeees game on Friday Night in Baltimore... I dont always take the boat there, very rarely because of the parking situation, they only have room for three to four boats, no reservation's first come first serve, and it's always packed... |
We are going to be at great oaks, then in Annapolis on Sunday hanging out. So if you see a PowerPlay come and say hello.
