It would be less of a headache just to go to "Things Remembered" at your local mall and have one made. It's the same machine they use to engrave coffee cups and door knockers.

Was re-tagged with a plastic plate with the new numbers engraved on it, and riveted into the transom. While going through the boat, I also found the "hidden" HIN from NY. Because of the age of the boat (they weren't required to hide a HIN when it was built) there isn't a trace of the original factory HIN. I've been planning on just having something nicer engraved as suggested. |

My Pantera had an SS plate for the HIN on the transom.
