whats the difference
hey guys
can anyone tell me the difference between a conventional prop and a surface piercing prop i seen a turbine boat with a asd 8 and the prop looks like a conventional prop i think it was an osborne cheers gerard |
Its position behind the boat. High rake plays a part. Cleavers may have been the first used in a surfacing situation.

Conventional = cheap$ Surface (cleaver) = expensive$

The surface drive props are stronger,if you put a conventional prop on there you are going to lose some blades
|
so if i had a strong convetional prop it will work
