Amateur Boat TV. Lot's of talk with no content, by someone who has no journalistic speaking skills whatsoever.

something I did not notice before is at 2:48 SEC. the sunsation hits on the tail and it looks like the deck is separating at the bow.

Maybe you need to adjust your screen a little. That would be the anchor locker door that opened :grinser010: :angry-smiley-038: .

I'm sure your Pachanga would of held up better right??? The guy running the boat obviously had it trimmed a little to high. No need to rip on Sunsation. It would of happened to any boat running 75 - 80 MPH in those conditions.

My stomach hit the ground when I saw that video. I thought it was my boat! Here I sit with a title with the guys name on it! I was trying to find out indescretely what happened to the boat. I finally called Sunsation and got the scoop. Turns out I have the 288 he traded in on the 32 in the Video. Hard to tell the difference between a 288 and a 32 in that pic but the paint schemes are very similiar!

WHEW!

Boat was fine after the incident with the exception of busted windshield (passenger went through it). The people aboard got banged up pretty good (broken limbs, one rear passenger had a broken pelvis). The lift at the bow was the anchor locker blowing open and the anchor flying into the horizon.

Owner is a nice guy from the Destin area named John. He just had a bad day of boating at the Emerald Coast PR in 07. The only difference is his bad day was recorded for all to see.

Wow, nice of them to have the anchor locker open that far.
