20 year old niece loves speed
 

My brother's daughter April Zastrow is world ranked 11th in the WMA as a pro rider. Good looking and fearless. She is bored going for 120 mph boat rides. She prefers jumping hundreds of feet. She also is one the first women to land a back flip on a stunt ramp.

Saw some of the Women's Motorcross on the X-Games this year... did she participate?

Oh yeah, the next time you want to start a frenzy, just toss a case of Budweiser into the mosh pit of a Kid Rock concert. :D :D

And she is single ?? :D

I'm close to her age, and i like dirtbikes and hot girls. hmm. is she single? ;)

Thats cool.. Just hope she gets out before any major wrecks. A couple friends I grew up with used to race motocross and such. Both have various pins, rods and scars from it. Wasnt that they were not any good. Its just a dangerous sport that, at some point, it happens. Wish her the best of luck though.

Also 120 in my HTM is alot different than 120 in the Skater or MTI :D :D :D

Hey what's up, man? I think I remember talking to you on Chitown about your HTM before I bought the Pantera.

It does run in the family. My father raced snowmobiles and had fast outboard boats. Her father (my brother) rode fast motorcycles in the Idaho mountains with her when she was very young.

She has her last race November in Texas. No Rockford.

Cool, Good for her! motocross is a TOUGH Sport, I was the #3 AMA amatuer 125 CC class in Western NY, 1976. Man, did I just make myself feel old!:eek:

Actually I may have been off a bit on the jumps. There is a local track in Boise ID where there is a 120' jump she clears for practice. She will pick on the local amateur guys for fun in races. She once took second in a hill climb on her race bike and only lost to a open specially prepared Harley hill climb bike. That is some scary racing straight up the side of steep hill. April was the only woman there. It is funny to watch her in her pink gear with hair waving out of her helmet racing the guys and kicking butt.

Her new career is riding Mountain Bikes and their YouTube channel. They get advertising sponsors for income. Her and her boyfriend live in a large house overlooking the Mountains in Boise ID. He was a professional Mountain Bike rider. I was amazed at how much he made doing that. And now both of them are doing very well with the new venture. Way safer than Motocross.
