It's worth more than you can get.
IMO. I have been looking at boats alot. Too much. ;) Crazy market. 30k for nice Formulas of the same size. 38k for a newer 35' Mistress. And less cared for 34 Scarabs out there for 15-20k. Cool boat. Bad market. Best hope is that somebody just has to have THAT year and model because they once fell in love. Then the no rot and good power will come into play. In the end, a boat is worth what someone will give you for it, and that fact has been bad for lots of sellers this year. Best of luck. Nicely kept boat. |

What you talkin about Willis????
Fund's right, you will most likley get less for it than what you want to sell it for. When we did work on the Stinger, we always knew that we were doing it for us, not because it would make the resale value any better. We lucked out. Someone saw our boat, had to have it (it was an impulse buy on the guy's part, he admits that now as the boat is for sale--it was not for sale when we sold it), we named our price and got it! Sold the boat 9 years later for $8000 more than was originally paid. That's called being in the right place at the right time. We did however have thousands more in the boat, but that's what we wanted to do for us, not for resale like I said. It's a tough market out there...and it's a buyers market. Good luck. What are you going to replace her with? |

I did NOT enjoy posting that. :( But I have a close friend who is going through the same situation. His boat is nicer than the comparables. |
