Angry My lady might have to go.

Medical issues may force me to sell my lady.
I wanted some consensus of how much she may worth, since I didn’t buy the Avanti as “one package”.
Hull and interior finish was done and purchased from Avanti. Motors and drives from Cobra and final rigging done by Lightning Bay. New Ace 15000# tri axle, alum. trailer. So here’s the specs.
2008 Avanti 33 hull. 24oz FG hand laid. Original hull design by Arronow (Coyote Beep Beep racing with later mod to shorten the hull to 33’ 3+”). Custom paint, Racing spec’d gas tanks (2 @ 125 gal ea. Racing style filler cap) All Gaffrig gauges, blue bezels. Color GPS, Imco full hydraulic ITS steering. (both power steering motor pumps are hocked up in series). 2007, 525’s Bravo XR’s with ITS. Sport master shorties, lowers. Warranty until Dec. 08. K-planes, 28” and 30” labbed bravos. Mid 80’s on GPS. Teague sea strainers, built in motor flush, full pump out head, SST sink, etc. typ. interior, Macloud electric bolsters. Docking lights. Sony 1000 watts AMP, CD. 6 powerful speakers. LED lights all over cockpit and motor compartment. Mirrored hatch. 26 hours on hull about 90 on motors. Great rough water boat, but she might have to go. Used 2006, NADA w/ 500’s (no 525’s in NADA book) $190,000 plus trailer plus misc. add ? $’s for 2008.?
Some one will get a sweet deal but I can’t just give it away. I know the market but I can’t see the boat sitting in storage for 4-6 months. Miss her already just thinking about the possibility of sale. (late Oct.)
So how much?
Thx .. P

Good luck with it. The market sure sucks. It seems that your going to have to take it in the A$$ to move a boat this year, even harder at the end of the season. I hope everything turns out ok with the health issues.

Avanti sold the molds in 2006 to Egg Harbor. EH is making CC's. (if that's what you refering to? )
My Avanti hul was not finished and was kept (for the Old Avanti owners son) Hull was pulled from the mold in 2006 finished in May 2008 with 08 serial numbers.

why did you decide to go with an avanti as apposed to other boats out there, what would be the sales pitch to someone wanting to buy an avanti who knows relativly nothing about them

Good question.
I didn't want a typical, massproduced boat. Wanted a unique boat, something that stands out, good in rough water.
One of the few.. not one of the manny.. principles.
While I like Cigs, OL's, AT's Nortechs and alike, their costs are in Pluto..
The Avanti is build extrimely well but no AC. or intercom.
If I want to cool down, I go in the water, the pool at the hotels or in the rom. If I want to say something to some one in the boat I "lean over" yell if I have to and save $75 grand.
As far as perfomance and speed,, I put her against anything in the same size and class. She surpassed my expectation on several rough Poker Runs already.
Besides.. not selling yet.. just want an idea of the $ in case I must..
