In Dallas/Ft. Worth we have hotels offering discounts and accepting pets in rooms for the evacuees. The Dallas and Ft. Worth Convention Centers are taking people and their pets.

I'm booked on a flight to Raleigh-Durham Monday morning but it may be cancelled.

Thanks for the thoughts, latest prediction has the eye coming over my house early Saturday, on the bright side, it looks like it will be a cat 2, maybe a 3.

This isn't New Orleans (all of Houston and most of Harris county well above sea level)

I've been out in the Galvaston area all week. Presently at a hotel next to the airport hoping to get out this morning. If not I'm gonna get into the rental car and drive like hell!!!
