Neon also requires a transformer to be in line somewhere. They usually are safe but they don't like to be beat around a whole lot. They can get very hot when they start to go out...I've seen a car burn up with them. Stick with LED's it's the way everything is going.

Neon is way too fragile. Maybe ok for a show boat that never hits the water. Go led. I use these http://www.varad.com/v4/products/ucl.php# 4 tube solid kits are 120.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions and help.I bought this multi color kit,Street glow wasn't making solid colors anymore and the cheaper line they had had less bulbs, over half, this kit has 360 LEDs,I have to play around with the positions of the tubes trying to get more blue on top of the blowers and the center of both motors.Heres a pick at night,no flash, kinda grainy pick.
Thanks,Rob
Next project is mirrors on the bottom of the hatch!!!
