DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE NBOA

I had NBOA and they will NOT pay out on a claim. It has been over 8 months and the matter is still tied up in court.

I got my new policy from State Farm and they had very good rates. I have not put a claim into them yet, but I've heard good things about their payouts.

3DMC and Rob,

I didn't have any problem at all. It can't be a Company Policy, or they wouldn't of given me insurance.

Got my insurance April 2000 when I bought boat. I made one claim and the agent gave me a check when I took the documentation into his office.

Rob, do you want my agents name? He is located in Shelby Twp (23 and Scheoner sp?).

Let's see: BOAT/US was astronomically high. The people the Power Squadron use wouldn't touch performance. So, after being dumped by RLI (they dumped boats entirely) and stuck with a Progreesive policy I didn't like, I got a really good deal from Sy Goldberg at Total Dollar.

OK here's my pathetic story which goes along with the fact that I just cant win!!! I insure my house and other stuff with state farm thru a different agent, so they said I'd have to call him. I didn't want to explain the "well he wont insure my boat, but you insure this guys boat, that's just like mine" story, so I'm, per U, screwed again!!!! DAMMIT!!!

I've got a good deal from what I've heard on here, from USAA. But they're only for active/retired military officers. BUT! I've heard consistent good quotes from Farmers Insur.

The caveat is, for each person that makes a call to each provider will probably hear a different quote/deal. Don't rule out anyone and by all means don't lie about what you've got. How fast ? I don't know!...which is probably true

Be patient and call them all one by one. Write it down. Then when it's all said and done place a post displayijng your quotes...
