Wobble vs Ike!
 

Has anybody heard from Wobble? He sent me a text as the eye went over his house.....he said he had a ton of trees down. I hope that the reason we have not heard from him is that he has lost internet and phone service. If anyone has talked to him please post....COME IN WOBBLE....COME IN!!

same with txriverrat, he posted a video right before it hit.

Everyone I know in the Houston area is OK, but millions have no electrical power and no water.

Yep, we still have no cable or phone in many areas and that was after Gustav and a glancing blow from Ike. The utility infrastructure is decimated. Gonna take a lot of time to get power and communications up and going again.

We're in the process of mopping up the flood water and ripping out sheetrock. Just did this chit 3 years ago. Just a little more time between storms would be nice.

Thoughts and prayers to all involved in Texas and Louisiana.

I'll accept any prayers sent this way too. I've been living with the in-laws for over 2 weeks now.:party-smiley-004:
