Hey Guys:

Thanks for all the Kudos. Richie Jr. is coming up to CT for the show and will be going back and working on the 277 on Monday. There are many changes to the deck and the hull that he is working on. Sleeker design to the deck and better performance to the hull, but there won't be any sacrifice to the performance.

We will get some renderings out as soon as we are satisfied with the changes. Our 277 and 31 will be big water boats with sleeker designs. PPI does all our interior and I'm sure both style boats will look HOT!! The 21SSX on it's way to the show now is one head turner.

Please all keep in touch..Sutphen Powerboats will definitely be a boat manufacturer surely worth considering.

The 21 is a graduated dead rise. If it's less than a 2 foot chop you'll have so much fun, in so little time, it's worth the ride.

Will these be classic straight bottom or stepped?

Any plans on doing outboard versions of the 21 & 27?

For now the 277 will be a classic V bottom with some changes to the hull.

Outboards are available.

Yes, Give us some numbers please! I assume these are mostly going to be built to order customs so at least give us a starting base price. Hull, interior, on trailer price maybe?

Hey guys,

We had a great show at Norwalk, the new 21 footer was a big hit and kept us all busy in the Sutphen booth for 4 days.

Biggus, as far as price goes, the 21SS has a starting price of 42,900.00. This boat has a long list of standard features but most important is the build quility. Construction of this hot rod consist of a fully cored hull and deck with a full lenth stringer system, hand laid bi and tri-axle glass using 100% vinyl ester resin.
Rich jr has lengthend and made some changes to the hull that has resulted in a great performace as well as ride quility. The new raised deck design with the integrated wind fairing lets you sit deeper in the cockpit for a secure feel at all speeds.

Rich calls that ghosting...Also note that the Sutphen logo goes in different directions as it proceeds to the stern. We can't wait to see the performance numbers.
