SKATERKAT, that is a Bad Asss 24 in that video. We are gaining a few Panteras on the bay where I boat. They are some nice looking boats!

Since we cant talk about cats  (Of course I would have picked the 24 skater) I'll have to go with the 24 Pantera. This is an old 24 race boat named "Plum Loco" here in my hometown, and runs STRONG. I have driven it, as well as throttled it. Great rough water boat. The hull is a 1992, and it still looks identical to the day it was new. Same paint scheme and everything:drink:

Hey SKATERKAT do you know if PLUMCRAZY is for sale?

Pantera24,

Nah, unfortuntly "plum Loco" is my friend Scott's pride and joy. He just put a new 600hp big block in it last fall, and is still getting the bugs worked out. Hes actually contemplating sending back to Pantera to put a new top cap and interior in it! He loves the boat. I have my 26 profile for sale on S and F if your interested. It is a 24 pantera popout that has been stretched. We run against each other all the time. The bottoms are IDENTICAL, and I've got priced to go! :ernaehrung004:

I appreciate the offer on the Profile (nice ride) I saw it on S&F but I have my choices down to either another Pantera or Carrera.

Thanks
Angel

Add pantera to that list, didn't realize they were also still offering their 24.

4 good companies offering offshores under 25 ft.

Basically, there are two origin hulls that make up the best of the best.

The 21 Challenger/Shadows which led to the current Superboats, Activators, Progressions, Kryptonites, Intimidators etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

The 24 Magnum/Cigarette which led to the 24 Panteras, Superboats, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc............

Both of these boats were designed over 30 years ago and nothing has caught them yet.........

Now all we need to do is convince new boaters to buy one of the 5 (Im sure there are a few more) instead of yamaha and sea doo and these good companies can stay in business.

Any information? I know they've made boats for a long time....but never thought of them as offshores, I was under the impression they were shallower V's....

T2x I see where you are coming from, at this point other then changing a deck here, a deck there, maybe a little chine, pad, step work here you can't do much with a 24' 24* v hull boat other then decide how you want to build it (lay up processes) so in the long run they'll all pretty much be the same.

Time to get back to the "smaller" classes of boats racing so the poor guy like me can run around with boats his size

Amen to that UPROKTOY,

They need to bring back the old A and B class, and I would be all over that! Your progression would an A class dominator. Thats we need. A 22 to 26ft single outboard class like the old days! Can you imagine single OB progressions, panteras, velocitys, etc. etc. etc.? How fun would that be huh? :ernaehrung004:
