Thank goodness they got rid of the cheeseball hatch setup on the deck. The new flush one looks real nice.

It is absolutely nuts. When Eddie was building my 850 he was going through the various parts list as I asked about what he was going to use. I asked about various cranks, studs, rockers, etc. He told me what I needed in my motor vs big power motors. Heck, I thought that 850 hp was pretty big at the time.

My little motor ended up making 945 hp. I guess that there are whole other worlds out there!

The original pleasure version one made with Baja is aggressively still for sale at LCM. The orange 1075 pleasure version sold and went to Tennessee I believe (and it was one fast, straight flying sob that ate up big water on Lake Michigan during a CPC run I believe). Great looking boats and they are serious performers with awesome lines in my opinion.

I am re-rigging and re-powering the one that LCM had for sale with the 1075's and 6's. There is a good thread about the boats over on Boatfreaks.org. Here is a link.

I really like the bustle on the one that JC built the engines for. Very sharp looking boat.
Here are a few shots of the one I'm doing. The long blocks are built and I just did a test fit to see how much fiberglass needed to be cut out.
