That boat has been for sale for approximately 6 months....and is a sister ship to ours.

It is a true race hull from back in the day.

Any wing that is 40 years old, like that one will need some professional TLC. You will also need to factor in a couple of period correct Merc inline 6's (or OMC V-4 race engines). The hull will be welcome at Vintage regattas all over the U.S. and Canada.

It will take a fairly experienced (in racing hulls under 20 feet) driver........ and the bad news.

The 20 footer has a more pronounced tendency to "lope" at speeds up to 50 mph, than the older design 18 footer (see picture below), so it will take more time to balance and setup...( I am speaking from current experience). The hull will see upwards of 100 mph with twin 125 hp OB's or more......( Mine has twin 375's:eek:)

As far as the price.....They ain't making any more and there are only 12-14 in existence..so the value is whatever the market will bear. In the short term the price seems a bit high. In the long term....... the skies the limit IMHO.
