I'm w/ everyone else on the Crew Cab. It'll be worth it in the long run.
As for the gears. I don't think everyone is taking into consideration that you are going to lift it and put bigger tires on it. If you will be towing a lot of heavy loads, the 4:56 would definetely be the way to go. IMO
If you stay w/ stock height and tires go w/ 4:10.
If you buy it and don't like it, let me know. I'll come take it off your hands.
Oh yeah, get the LT package too. Only way to go.

Ouch!! That sucks!!!
As far as the new rig, you definatly dont need the 4.56 gears if your only going with 33's. The 4.11 work perfect with the 33's.
Just my .02

Red Stripe,
If he is going to use his truck for highway use only and not do ANY towing at all the 4:10s would be fine. I have a funny feeling that he has a large boat that is going to be hooked up to his new rig though. Take a look at any gear chart. A minimum of 4:27 gears would be needed, probably 4:56 if he is towing real heavy loads.
I've built over 50 of these trucks and seen people under gear or not gear at all.
It's just not worth the cost of a new tranny or motor.
