Fl. Tax dollars being wasted by FFWCC
As usual, the Manatee Huggers piss away money on a Manatee count they KNOW will be low because of warm weather!
There is a state law that say's they have to count Manatees, regardless, if the conditions are BAD for a count. That's another law that needs to be changed, and we'll address that here in the future, hopefully! This data is basically useless!

Hi Dean!
New job is going well. The people are REALLY nice! Everyone is So HELPFUL! The trasnsition from a retail broker to high end money manager is pretty seamless but teh want you to just take your time and learn their system at your own pace. really nice touch. Anyway, glad to see you are sticking to your guns and not giving up. Thanks for thinking about me and the new position.
Hopefully we will meet someday!

Morn'n Dean!
Well, that's a damn shame...WTF were they thinking. Surprising thing is that I had read a few weeks ago that it would be scrapped altogether this year unless they did in fact get a week of cold weather. I would think that warm weather would be enough to postpone it until next year.
That sucks too because I was anctiously awaiting the new figures. I'd bet it would've been over 3500. I think the way they go about this is all wrong. It's pure happenstance, at best. We'll never get the whole story like this.

You watch, the STMC is going to take that number count and use it to their advandage.
They'll be screaming about how boats kill Manatees and that's why the count is so low.
The data will get so twisted that no one will know the truth.
We don't need this.
