Default Annapolis Boat Show

I'm in D.C. until December, I was wondering if the Annapolis Boat Show is worth going to?

If your looking for performance boats, then no. Otherwise, it's a nice show to see many different types of boats and the section of town is very nice. Only problem is with the time of year, weather can get cool!

There will be a few performance boats in the show, but not like it was 10 years ago. We have yet to determine if we will have a new 37 Active Thunder there.

Last time I was there was 05. There was a few Fountains, Donzi's, and a Black Thunder. You will not see any Skaters, MTI's, or Nor-techs. It is a nice a show though.

Fun time to be there is Sunday around 6pm when they break everything down. You can see some interesting marine navigating at work. Go on the roof over Pussers Landing next to the Hotel. There is generally a bar set up, you can see all the action of the boats leaving, and it's a pretty good time.

Not much performance boats but still a great show in a great town!

Pusser's Bar at the Marriott is a must!

Fountain will have boats there, plus the town is a great time with lots of history. Its only about a 45min drive from DC.
