where can I get a dipstick to replace the merc ones???mine are the plastic ones that you cant read worth a sh!t....Kaama has a steel braided looking one but I cant find them anywhere....help....

i'm not sur ehow they would hold up in salt though, if you find anythign better let me knwo . I have to replace mine too.

need. it is made by Lockar and it's braided aluminum.

Dipsticks????? We don' need no stinking dipsticks!!!! Waterfoul's the only one I know that needs one.:D
Dyno's a freshwater boater so there's no salt issue. Yeah, I was thinking that the steel braid dipstick tubes look pretty good.

For dual engines, make sure you get the color coded ones (red for port, green for starboard) because if you pull them both out at the same time and mix them up, if you put the wrong one in....your engine will run backwards.
