Question Lake of the Ozarks, Hotels?

I am towing a boat to the shootouts. This is my first time to Lake of the Ozarks. Where is the best place to stay ?

Cool

Depends on what your goal is! If you want to be close to all the shootout action i think the Tan-tar-a(sp) or how ever you spell that is the closest to it all. If you want to go check out Party cove then Lazy Days is the closest to that and and not far from the shoot out action either. There are TONS of places around.

Tan Tara ,,, definatly,,, stay there every year,,, you have the option of the hotel,, or rent a cottage lake side, or off the lake. Nice launch ramp, but a little steep and tight to get down to.

Default Check It Out...???

Make sure you look into availability way in advance...(like now)
Tan-Tar-a is often home too many business conferences and things like that and room availability can often be an issue...

I know there is the Missouri Grocers Assoc. conference at Tan-Tar-A that weekend. If you plan on staying there, book as soon as possible.
