OSS Race pics - View from Start/Finish Boat
First, I would like to say I had a great time shooting from the start/finish boat for the first time.
It was great to see the JBS boat running and running prettty well I must say for the first time in race conditions. Congrats to CRC on the taking the win over Bud Light and Bad Moon. The Bud boat sounded great Saturday and was flying until the engine went away; those flat waters just don't seem to be good for them engines. I really enjoyed the 850 class racing; that is a really good class of racing. The SVL boats also put on a good show; congrats to the Dunbar's. Now for a few pics. Great pics!!! In The one of Ron Ripple I can see myself standing on my deck in the back ground (next to the guy in the yellow shorts). Gives great perspective of what a great spot we had each day.

Where were all the pro stock boats? Berry Cuda is from the area, I was surprised he wasn't racing.

Berry Cuda sold the boat at the beginning of the season, hasn't raced all year. Chris had some family stuff to take care of this year. I hope to see them back on course soon.

It was a little disappointing with only Ryan showing up in stock class. On the other hand, Ryan was running good and seemed to be right there with Miccosukee even though they were in different classes.
The Super Vee class is sad though. Hopefully more from each class will show up in Key West. |
