How does adding Whipple SC's impact dependability? Looking at a boat with sc 525's I'm more concerned with dependability than performance. Thanks for any advice.

Very Reliable. As long as the were installed correctly by someone with Fuel Mapping equipment you'll be fine. Best blowers out there by far.

Be sure to get a fuel presure gauge and monitor it close!

It's not the blower, it's the operator. If you have doubts, spend the money to have the motor checked out.

I have a pair on my 525 efi's and they are great...if you want to find anything more out, give Dustin a call at Whipple he will help you out and will answer any questions you have...

Greg,
We installed a pair of the Whipple 5.0's on stock 525's. They ran trouble free. Deffinately give Dustin a call, or call me, we can get you dialed in with the same set up that we ran. Mapping is very crucial to the success of the project, but not difficult if you go to the right source. Fred |
engines will be fine .. its the outdrives that are the weak link.. will not hold the power..
