Hey guess who was in my booth at the Miami Boat Show? Our buddy AC! He came to our shop and put his name on some TRS drives and said he would call us when he got home with payment and shipping info. Never heard from him since. He liked to passed out when I came up and said who I was:D

Thanks, your input through out this last year has been god-sent. You have probably answered 1000+ questions through all the phone calls and the visits. One day we will never forget is the morning of 9-11 with Mindy running out with the horrifying news, then with the TV on all of us watching it live. . . . I guess thinking about what I just wrote make me feel that all the stress about building the boat just is not that important! My thoughts & prays to all!

I am planing on taking the boat up to Lake-X to get it dailed in. I was hoping that the first couple of boats would be in the water and would have most of the 38' dailed in! I guess it starting to get to the fun point! Tic-Faw here we come!!!

Thanks, it has been a long year waiting for the tooling to be done, but we are there! Speed, that is a loaded question! As I have said on the AT thread the boat is not going to be the fastest, we are putting alot into the cabin. The Maimi boat show boat does not look anything like ours, we have a mattress up in the berth vs foam. The mattress weights 65 lbs up in the bow plus all the upholstery upgrades, ..... AND the B-Maxs. Oh yea, speed, I want to hit the magic century mark, I am looking for a SOLID 95 with the Keith Eickart 675's. Maybe at the end of my year warrenty when I change the pulleys and up to 800 HP we can hit 100+. My wife & I are jazzed and can't wait.

I have never slamed anyone on this board for boat, or who they do business with, or the choices they make and I'm not about to start now. If you have problems with PowerPlay deal with them, if you don't have anything constructive, either positive or negitive (note I said constructive) I would appreciate keep your derogatory coments to yourself.

DEFY'N GRAVITY - i agree, what the real deal..why is everyone picking on you (powerplay)...are they REALLY behind? Are you really in a position to lose you money? Just let us now the TRUTH!

Did you get burned by pp at one time? Did they not deliver a boat on time to you or something. Tell us what the deal is?:confused: You obviously have had some dealing with PP, the owners or something to make all of the comments you did. Tell us what your experience was, please keep it clean.

From Louisville huh. We live in Peoria IL but do most of our boating on Lake Cumberland. Have you run in the Kentucky Lake or Cumberland Poker Runs ? If your planning on running this year, it would be great to meet up with you. As I mentioned in an earlier thread, we were torn which boat to buy, the PP or the AT. It would be great to see the finished product and meet up with some OSO posters

I probably won't be able to keep up with those 625 KE's with my whimpy 500's, but it would be great to see that bad boy in the water.

Fountain has been bashed here recently for not paying bills. I have seen some nasty rumors printed here about some other manufactures. I hope they are all false. The marine industry has to be hurting with the downturn in the economy. I hope all the manufactures can weather the storm.

I was recently disappointed by Fountain. I had a boat ordered and wanted to add the ITS to it. To this day Fountain has not bothered to call me back. I guess I won't be buying another Fountain. The point is I am hot at the Manufacture for ignoring me. I'm not going to go out and bash Fountain. They make great boats. I have posted my story of boat buying 101 and what happened. If a manufacture does something wrong you should post about it and not pick apart someone else’s boat. Give the facts but not on someone else’s thread. I'm done *****ing now.
