How many of these damn boats are around? I should grab a good quality printer and some fake nameplates and make mine an original as well. I should get about ten or fifteen more bucks for it then?:mad:

I actually had dialoque with the owner of the "original" boat and his name is Jim. Nice fellow and he says he has all the paperwork on the boat to prove it was the actual one. (I tend to believe him after what he told me)
However...there have been numerous others that also claim they own "THE ORIGINAL" KV.
I get asked if my boat was the one used in season one about three times a day, but I digress and tell the truth that it was not.

Barrett Jackson auctions are the appitomy of oppulance and yet I admit I tune in as I am a old piston head and love old cars, but am amazed at the prices they get for these vehicles!!!
Branding a boat from TV might make the suckers come out.
