Default Anyone into high-line sports collectibles?

My dad's commercial real-estate business has taken a dump over the last few years, and as a result he is selling some pretty rare Air Jordan's that Michael signed for him after leasing some chi-town office space for his charity from my father. I'm pretty sure I was supposed to get these when he dies, but tough times force the sale of some pretty cool shoes (doh!)

Anyway, here's the link I put up for him if you guys wanna check them out:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=320309398893

And do me a favor, keep the bit.chin about the price to a minimum. Most of you guys can afford 'em.

Gino, it figures that you'd buy them to wear 'em!

A regular pair of signed MJ shoes is worth some pretty big bucks. These just happen to be worth more cuz the shoes are a rare color and he signed each shoe. Usually he signs one.

Talking

We could have traded for a 1987 Corvette with Pontiac wheels!

Don't get discouraged but I don't think you'll get a buyer. This type of purchase is usually a guy with a lot of extra money willing to throw it around. However if you didn't know the economy has been a little sluggish this week.

baddogz.. Sorry to hear about your father. Times are hard all over. I built Mikes house in Northbrook. (not the whole thing, only the concrete stuff)
If you can.. hang on to those things.. It's not a $ thing.. it's more like history, and nastaulgia. (sp ? )
I have a watch that he gave me.. (Bulls on the face) MJ on the back. No clue what it's worth.. but as a conversation peace.. it's priceless. Mike is a pretty OK guy.. He might even help you guys out.

(hmmm... now if he would only buy my boat.... lol... now that would be priceless. )
