Hi Bob!

Good to hear from you. Hope you're doing well. I still haven't seen your new shop.

Yes, I bought a 400SS a few months ago. You know I sold the 357 when we had a baby on the way and figured now it was time to get back into boating with something a little more family friendly.

I saw you mention in another thread about the 400SS you put the blowers on. It sounds awesome (but expensive). I actually like mine with the stock 500EFIs. For now it is fast enough for us (I still have the small kiddos on it). But, I sure like the idea of adding the blowers and changing the drives in the future.

I would love to be able to take the 400 to you like I did the 357. You always took great care of me. I've tried to think of a way to do it. But I am near Carlos and Charlie's and don't have a trailer for it. I am keeping it on a lift at Paradise Cove Marina.

How did you service the other 400SS? Did he have a trailer for it and trailer it over to you?

Spicy - No special tax I am aware of. We do have to pay the highway tax on the water and then you can claim a refund at the end of the year.

We can work on it in the slip. We installed the Whipples and new drives on the lift. The worst part was the 50+ mile drive each way to the North shore. I bet we've made 10-15 trips over the last 2 years.

Bob, wow that is a lot of driving. I am assuming that would get expensive. But, not as expensive as driving the boat up there at $5.50 a gallon.

So you do any other service work at Paradise Cove Marina?
