how good are herring props compared with rolla or merc
for a single drive

I have had all 3 and the herings are the best in quality and top end speed.

yea but were you running 4 blade or five what were your figures with the props

Herings good top end high slip #s at lower speeds.
Im running Mercs new 16.5x 38 @ 18 Degree rake.
1200 Hp rated and came with a year warranty.I have turned 40 pitch herings 500 rpm more with little top end gain.Just depends what your looking for.I like the warranty.

i do about 100 hrs per year and really want s much top end speed as possible and am running a 17x24 merc 4b at present if i were to go to hering would i go with more blades less pitch less dia or stay the same im getting 20%slip with the merc

You should contact Brett at BBlades. 20% slip is terrible. He has our 6 blade Herings at 8%.
