can't wait till my membership expires.....
|
today was a bad hiccup... normally hittin refresh a couple of times works but it was down for about 3 hours here
|
Ah, the irony. The site became unreachable for me just after I noticed the "slow OSO problem solved" link at the top. I clicked on it, and couldn't get the site to load for 2 hours.
And don't tell me about Firefox. I was one of the first to point it out, and i've been running Firefox for 3 years now. |
was not a problem for me i just went to a site that works , and it is free
|
All is well over here...

Why? Does IB have some kind of mind control over you, forcing you to come here, as long as your membership is in effect?

You've got to be kidding me. This site only works correctly with 1 browser???? Great job IB, you guys could F-up a train wreck. I will not download a browser to accommodate your site nor will I press 1.

Yesterday, I went to click on the Slow Oso Problem Solved: link and it wouldnt load. Couldnt get on at all last night.
Then I decided........ F U C K I T !!! Im not downloading Firefox for one website that should be fast. New Tagline............. OffshoreOnly Fast Boats, Slow Website! |
Firefox is a good browser, i use it as well, but it can't make slow websites fast.
I can't read these threads any more, especially the silly answers. The reason somewhere else. Here is the free analysis why: 22.3K 1 HTML/Text 59.4K 14 JavaScript Files 2.7K 2 Stylesheet Files 7.1K 4 CSS Images 455.2K 41 Images 5.6K 2 Unknowns 552.5K Total size 64 HTTP requests Lot's of http requests that take time, not minized css and js files, old fashion html, to large images. A standard click loads 550k of data->too much. It would take a good developer 2 -3 days to improve the page load by 30%. The owner of OSO could save lot's of $$ in money for the servers if they would minimize the load.... Heiko |
I could not even see the site last night. Went to another site BF for a while

IB doesn't know any good developers. They buy what others have built. Doesn't mean that they can run what they buy.

The speed of this site is about right if it were a sailboat site !
