build a lite lay up potato chip w/ no/bare cabin short stagger 496 w/ a high tech 3-4-5 step bottom should be able to get 92-93 u would think....

496 HO with ITS???? I would think that a 525 xr would be about the same money. That ITS ain't cheap as an upgrade from a bravo. I may be wrong though anybody know?

but how will it handle with bigger power.Like 525's with Whipple kit on it.

Fountain PR edition 42 will run 95+ with 525efi's and Its. But she will also run 140+ with 1075's

im sure package pricing will be alot lower for the manufacturers... mercury/brunswick volume is crashing they will have to lower their margins and price point with probably a forcast of 30-40% for the next 12 month compared to trailing 12mo

The 496/ITS will still be cheaper than a 525 w/XR. The ITS option is about $6500 each.
