go to the palms and check out the pool area. Looks like a buffett.:grinser010:

Rambunctious 10-16-2008 08:53 AM

go to the stratosphere and ride the ride that cantilevers you over the 880 ft overhang

I hadn't been in the fetal position since birth until that ride !!
worth the $10

do the nascar experience at the Vegas speedway

stop in at Shelby America factory at the reacetrack

go to the old downtown for cheap gambling and drinks and some street performers and artists

rent a boat on lake mead and take a ride to the hoover dam

RedDog382 10-16-2008 10:40 AM

Nick,

I have to work 2P-11P shift on the 21st and 22nd and could meet out after work, I'm off on the 23. What time do you fly out? We could probably splash my 260SS and give you a tour of Lake Mead. Check out Seamless. Nice little club ...!

I'll be out there the 21st thru the 23rd as well.

Girlfriends work is sending her out for a conference, get to tag along for a free vaca. Can't beat that. Staying at Manadlay Bay, plan on being poolside during the day.

gsmith9898 10-16-2008 02:43 PM

Stay at the orleans and you can stumble across the street to seamless.:party-smiley-004:

Hey Bob,

You missed it! Thanks to the bad influence of a few good friends, I think I have discovered a new vice ... especially the tall blonde from Budapest! We were even speaking the same language.:drink:

Treasures for sure, Cheetahs, Bar at the top of Mandalay bay, the pool at Mandalay bay, Hard rock always has a crazy party going on, go down town and see the light show its pretty cool, Jet, Tryst etc. All The night clubs pretty much kick ass. There is way too much to do in Vegas. Three days is definately not enough if it is your first time.

We Canadians like to go to gun ranges and fire handguns, it is not so easy here. The drive to Palm Springs is great, like driving on the moon. Hoover dam is worth visiting. For poolside scenery, the Rio is good. And visit downtown Las Vegas glitter gulch, it is out of the way, but it is unique.

spazboz 10-17-2008 10:02 AM

Cool man, thanks for ALL the heads-up. Turns out, I was wrong. We are staying for 4 DAYS!!! Thanks a ton for the offer Chris, I will def. look you up for a beer or two. The bat ride sounds great too. And I really wanna meet your tall blonde friend :grinser010:
