New Pantera

Was just poking around the web on a rainy day and found a release and pics on the new Pantera 28 twin-stepped hull at performanceboats.com. Check it out. Looks pretty sweet. Dig the green motor.

Glassdave,

We have concentrated all of our efforts right now on our new Pantera 28 SR.We feel the smaller boat will be more popular now due to the economy. If you are interested in a 41' please let me know.

Regards,

Recessed hull sides and new "twin stepped" bottom design. There are quite a few other exciting changes coming on the new Pantera 28 SR. Should be testing in approximately 2 weeks.I will keep everyone informed.Mercruiser 525 EFI was ordered in custom "Hulkin Green" color which looks almost identical to our Pantera green cat eyes.

Sic Pantera!

Kudos and congratulations to Jo,Pepe and the crew at Pantera , there new hull is one of the best new offerings to hit the market in the last four or five years!

This is one of the new boats I know would be the perfect
"Pocket Rocket" big water boat with two of our new LSM550 engines and they will be done in any color that's needed! Can you say 100mph with twin aluminum small blocks on 89 pump gas! Just a thought?

Best Regards

Very very cool, keep us up on how she runs!!!:ernaehrung004:

JO - PANTERABOATS 10-17-2008 04:27 PM

Thanks Guys !

There is a trick to getting the hull out of the mold with the recessed hull sides. We spray the mold, skin coat is applied, and then we put the part in to the hull, and then lamiate everything as 1 piece. Once the hull is pulled out of the mold minor cosmetics around the edges of the part are required. Like Paul Harvey says : And now you know the rest of the story !!!:drink:

We are the 1st company to attempt this unique style to a hull as far as I know. My Father and I like to be different !!! In today's market I feel you need to be very innovative.

Pictures do not do the recessed hull sides justice. I will post a nice video and quality pictures at time of sea trial. We have done alot of changes to increase performance and looks to our Pantera 28' model.

Regards,

JO

I am excited about this boat! I'm excited that your company built it! The industry doesn’t need another 1/2 million dollar cat or V. The only thing the industry was lacking was this boat! CONGRATS!

Let me know when you want me to test it???LOL:evilb:

I look forward to seeing you in KW!:drink:

Joe, I admire your style of racing,
Bal*s to the wall,
Second place is the first place looser!
Back in the 70's I didn't win many,
but the ones I did were from flag to flag.
Take no prisoners!!!

Joe, Mike,

Here is my son riding his Kawasaki KDX 50 a couple of weeks ago at the MX track. He is only 2 1/2 now and been riding by himself for a few months now.I adjusted the throttle to open only a 1/4 of the way but he wants more gas now :p He did 6 laps by himself.

My Father and I are both proud of him. Maybe I will see you guys down in Key West.

Regards,

JO
