I watched the spectator boats anchored there every day last year and wondered what kind of shots it would produce.

Agree. Lots of action in that turn. Last year saw Reliable Carriers wreck in that turn from a helicopter. 
I'm sure Jay will get some great shots wherever he is. Great stuff.
