Default Want to go boating all winter?

I was at my buddy Larry Goldman of Xtreme marines new facility the other day. I have to say I was very impressed! The place is huge! It has to be at least 30,000 inside and another 30,000 outside fenced in. He has more room then boats. I told him he needs to start cutting killer deals to all the northern guys to keep their boats down here. We go boat almost every weekend all winter. Stu from Fl Powerboat club puts on lots of fun runs.
He is going to set up a deal for all the northern guys to store their boats, have them in the water, full of fuel, full cooler with what ever you want waiting for you when you fly in, we go boating all weekend. When your done, you get out of the boat, leave it at the dock and go back to the airport. He flushes the motors, cleans it, covers it and put's it away until the next time you come to town.
Right now you can get flights for about $99 each way. isn't this a better soloution then letting the snow pile up on your boat while you sit on OSO reading about what I'm crashing into with mine!!

Who would be interested in this?? I would think it's worth it even if you came down once every 6 weeks. Summer dosen't need to be 8 months away!

If he adds a launching service I think this will be good business for him.

What is the hurricane rating on the building? The insurance companies will make it interesting if it's not at least category 4. Unfortunately Wilma changed their view on non Florida residents storing their boats down there for the Winter season.

Not so sure about that - your experiences in Florida are just what is needed in Canada when there is 6ft of snow outside.
