Default Boat rentals in San Diego??

We will be in San Diego April 10th-14th. Anybody know where I may be able to rent a nice boat?

Thanks, Eric

San Diego must suck for boating. What's up with that?

Hey Checkmate,

I was in San Diego a few years ago and rented a 21' bowrider for the day. The place I found was out on Coronado somewhere. If I remember correctly there were several places on the island that offered rentals. I guess the only advice I can think of is to look in the phone book when you get in town.

Checkmate,
My wife went to law school out there and there are a ton of places to rent 19-25 bowriders and such. Check the yellow pages when you get there and call around for the best price. As I remember they are pretty cheap because they rent year round. My rental fee was like $250 for the boat, fuel, and an extra price for Ocean access. Rent on Mission Bay and watch the kelp if you decide to run along the coast in the ocean...it's just like Potomac hydrilla just bigger and nastier!!
My Pachanga is finally almost done so I hope to see you at Sequoia this year!!
How did the 500 HP swap turn out for you last year?
Ken

Thanks for the info guys! I'll check the phone when we arrive.

Hey Ken! Long time no see(or write)! The motor worked very well last year. Now it's in St Louis for a refresh. Should be done by the end of the month. We definatly will be on the Potomac this year. Although I doubt we'll go back up to Geogetown/Sequoia. I just don't really get any enjoyment running up there. Too much no wake I guess. You'll have to come down this way. Where do you usually put in?

Thanks, Eric
