Default Very Nice

Wow how nice was it today to take the boat out and not worry about it costing double my monthly boat payment for gas. Don't know about the rest of the county but gas in North Dallas is 2.12 a gallon. First time in while I didn't even look at the gauge sweating if I was running a little too fast for cruising because I would have to fill it earlier than expected. It figures too, tomorrow will be the last day I take it out till March then by June, I'm sure they will be back to raping us again.

Unfortuantely people are now thinking that low $2.xx gas is cheap...........and it is in comparison to what we have been paying for this last year. It was under $2/gallon 3 years ago. With inflation, the price is probably about where it should be. Hopefully it stabilizes and OPEC does eff it up by cutting back production too much.

If you all remember back 4 years ago (last Pres. election)
...same thing happened; dramatic reduction right through election day... then back up to the current rip-off prices.

I am betting that Wed.'s prices will be way above Tuesdays.

Very interesting. I'll be watching the prices that day. We are below the $2 mark, about 1.96
