I'm new to performance boats ,when you say it rides flat what does that mean? Thanks for the info and pix.
He means the boat rides level rather than a bow-up attitude. The "run angle" is 0 or 1, close to 180*.
Next time you're at a magazine rack, look for Boating magazine. All their boat tests have statistics, one of which is the run angle. The farther away from 0, the higher the bow rides, making it more difficult to see over the bow, not to mention the stern drag killing fuel mileage and scrubbing speed.

The 380 is mainly a sit down boat. Its a stepped hull so it is designed to run flatter the a non stepped hull.
