I'll bet with those motors down so low in that vee, that the CG is awesome. It is really looking good too. Your customer has to be pretty proud. I cannot wait to see the kind of numbers that vee lays down. You gotta know I love the orange too

The customer hasn't seen it yet
I'm really not sure about the engine angle. There are several theories, I'm just not sure which one they were going for.
Thanks everyone for the kind words, Eddie.

I rode in a similar 39 Skater V w/ JT. It had 1200 MRD's and was smooth as glass at 135 MPH... and was still pulling ---- we just were running out of water quickly!!!!! Don't know exactly how fast it was (it's been "re-rigged" since), but 135 MPH wasn't even close ------ nor close to the boat's ability.... still a bunch of hull left at that speed.

Thats awesome! I would bet 150 is pretty doable.
Eddie, do you have any good pics of the bottom, and/or a pic of the step(s). I have not looked at one of these Skaters up close. Just curious to see what it looks like.

I don't, but I can take some today. It has a step up really far toward the bow. The first step is only about 10 feet from the bow. I've never seen one that far forward. I'll post some shots this evening.

Getting closer to the water. This is the first time I'm using this exhaust. It is the Hurricane's from Hardin Marine. They have a 2 1/4" primary and are made of heat treated 316 SS. Very nice piece, especially for the money.
