What is typical weather for New Year's Day and how many boats usually make the run? We have no plans for New Year's Eve as of yet so if I can convince "the other half" to make the long haul.......but she's gonna want to do "something" New Years Eve so coming in from out of town and not knowing anyone there(since there's not a poker run) ......what's going on that I don't already need reservations for????

We usually have close to 20 boats. It sounds like I am having a New Years PARTY at my house for the out of towners....

We are going on the first. We run from The Hyatt to Mar Vista for lunch. The way we get there depends on the weather. We may have a party at my house on the 31st. We have had 15-30 boats every year.

I would love to come, we are down in Bonita Springs, and would be interested in coming up for new years eve to meet everyone, if you do not have room we can get a hotel

I may just have a new boat that we are finishing up for the northern boat shows.....would be a great place to give it a run in the new year.

That is so awesome!! I was really good friends with Rebel in DE. He painted my boat. We were friends for 15+ years. It has bothered me since he passed away... I know in his short time in FL he made a ton of friends.
Not a day that goes by I don't think about him.

I wish you guys an awesome day on the water. I had the honor in spreading his ashes on the Chesapeake bay when we put his fun run together. It was awesome to have all of his Biker Friends ride to the Nauti-Goose Saloon Resteraunt in North East, MD and then take the ride on the boats with us to spread his ashes.

I read one of your post that says weather permitting...... They called for 75% chance of rain all the way until the day before... It was Sunny and 84 that day.. Wasn't a cloud for miles... Rebel will make sure your day goes as planned. He is all about the Party!!!
